The Norfolk Library Foundation provides supplemental funding to the Norfolk Public Library to enhance the programs and services available to learners of all ages in northeast Nebraska.
Many people in the community, including the Library Foundation members and Library Staff, have been sad to see the mature trees around the library cut down. The removal of these trees was an unfortunate necessity so that construction on the expansion and renovation of the library can begin. The vast majority of the trees were also Ash trees, which would have needed to be replaced over the next several years due to the Emerald Ash Borer. The Library Foundation is helping with the cost of replanting new trees and invites you to join us in this effort to keep our library green and beautiful!
The average cost of the new trees planned for planting is $250.
Donors providing a $250 donation will be able to dedicate a tree to a loved one with a memorial plaque.
The first three $100 donors will receive a dozen sticky buns compliments of Library Foundation Board Member Sue Burns!
